Training Packages
As a dog trainer, Reactive, Obedience, Adolescent, Rescue (ROAR) Dog Training knows that a one paw or jaw size approach does not fit all. ROAR Dog Training understands that training a dog is specialised and individual, when you are equipped to listen, the methods can be modified to suit the best outcomes for both dog and owner.
During my life, I have engaged dog trainers as well as attended dog training classes. I identified a huge gap in the dog training industry, with my dogs’ issues not being addressed, as most trainers apply a one size fits all approach . . . which never helped to rectify the behaviour that I engaged the dog trainer for.
Throughout employment in the dog training industry, I have heard endless times, how much people have previously spent with dog trainers and given up because they did not get results for the money they paid.

The packages are a guideline for what is available. You will not be locked into the package you initially choose, as if required, there is flexibility to adapt to your dog training goals.

In, Out & About (IOA) your home
Reactive, Obedience, Adolescent, Rescue (ROAR) Dog Training come to you and training is undertaken In, Out and About (IOA) your home . . . inside your home or yard, on a walk, at a park or anywhere you and your dog are having issues.
* IOA and Combo Packages may be subject to additional travel costs for locations outside of standard service areas. A quote will be provided at the time of your booking.
Assessment
1 x 1 hour Assessment
An IOA Assessment is an evaluation of your current situation, to get your training started or refine what you already have in place and guidance on how to proceed.
2x Consults
2 x 1 hour Consults
IOA Consults are designed to suit the duration of the dedicated one-on-one support you and your dog require to achieve your training goals.
3x Consults
3 x 1 hour Consults
IOA Consults are designed to suit the duration of the dedicated one-on-one support you and your dog require to achieve your training goals.
4x Consults
4 x 1 hour Consults
IOA Consults are designed to suit the duration of the dedicated one-on-one support you and your dog require to achieve your training goals.
5x Consults
5 x 1 hour Consults
IOA Consults are designed to suit the duration of the dedicated one-on-one support you and your dog require to achieve your training goals.
Group Classes
Group dog training classes teach structured and routine methodologies enabling learning outcomes for dog and owner, with take-home instructions to practice, as well as exposure to other dogs in a controlled environment. Group dog training classes are a cost effective approach to applying and reiterating guidance from a professional dog trainer. All classes have a maximum of 6 dogs.
Obedience Group Classes
6 x 1 hour Weekly Consecutive Classes
Suitable for dogs from 16 weeks and over requiring basic obedience with no prior dog training or to refine any existing training. The 6 week course runs consecutively on the specified day, at weekly intervals. You and your dog will learn basic obedience and commands for Station/Foundation, Sit, Stay, Down, Stand, and Recall. Not suitable for any dogs that display reactive behaviour.
Reactive Group Classes
6 x 1 hour Weekly Consecutive Classes
Suitable for all dogs displaying reactive behaviours, particularly to other dogs. The 6 week course runs consecutively on the specified day, at weekly intervals. You will learn how to recognise dog body language, triggers, proximity and thresholds, recovery from a reactive episode, reactive dog management and prevention techniques. Additionally, all basic obedience and commands for Station/Foundation, Sit, Stay, Down, Stand, and Recall.
*As Group Dog Training classes are routine in nature, attending group training will not necessarily address specific behavioural issues you are experiencing.

Combo Packages
Combo Packages provide an opportunity to get started on your dog training journey and obtain fundamental elements prior to starting group classes, with the added benefit of receiving focused one-on-one attention for your specific requirements.
